About

Thoughtful, Developmentally Informed Psychological Evaluations

I am a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist specializing in comprehensive, strengths-based psychological evaluations for children and adolescents. I occasionally work with young adults on a case-by-case basis when concerns overlap with developmental, learning, or executive functioning needs. My evaluations are designed to provide clarity beyond brief screening. I integrate gold-standard assessment tools, developmental history, and real-world information to create reports that are thoughtful, individualized, and practical. Feedback sessions are collaborative and clear, with an emphasis on translating results into actionable recommendations that support children and families at home, at school, and in daily life. When developmentally appropriate, I also offer individualized feedback sessions with children or adolescents to help them understand their learning profile, strengths, and areas of growth in a way that is affirming, accessible, and empowering. Following the intake appointment, families receive a personalized Good Faith Estimate outlining the anticipated scope of services and estimated total cost. Insurance & Payment I am currently in-network with Premera Blue Cross and Aetna. Contracting with Regence BlueShield is in progress (timeline unknown). Insurance typically covers services that are considered medically necessary for diagnostic clarification (such as ADHD or Autism evaluations). Broader assessment of learning, executive functioning, or educational planning may extend beyond insurance coverage and may be provided on a self-pay basis. Many families choose to submit Superbills for out-of-network reimbursement, and some receive partial reimbursement for evaluation services depending on their plan. Reimbursement varies and cannot be guaranteed. To help simplify this process, I partner with Reimbursify, a secure service that allows families to submit Superbills to their insurance company through the Reimbursify app or website. Detailed information about insurance and payment options is provided during the scheduling and intake process.
